The final draft of the East County Advanced Water Purification Project Title 22 Engineering Report is complete.
It outlines the Project’s plan for compliance with the California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 22 Water Recycling Criteria. This report fulfills the Division of Drinking Water (DDW) requirements and contains 18 sections totaling nearly 500 pages of detailed information.
This comes after the East County AWP Joint Powers Authority (JPA) and Helix Water District held several public hearings with the Division of Drinking Water (DDW) in early 2023. These public hearings provided information to the community on the public health-related portions of the East County AWP project. It was also an opportunity for the public to comment on the Project’s draft Title 22 Engineering Report.
This final Title 22 Engineering Report was prepared by the East County AWP Joint Powers Authority.
