Truck Trips, Invasive Tree Removal, Pipeline Construction and 3-Way Stop

EastCountyAWP_Sep_FillDirtTruck_NoCopy_10.3.2 (002)

Construction has begun!  Please be aware of truck traffic bringing in dirt to fill the grade where the foundation of the treatment facilities will be located. Increased truck traffic is expected for approximately three months - roughly until the end of 2022. Trucks will exit Highway 52, travel east on Mast and then north on Fanita Pkwy past Ganley Rd.  Truck trips will occur Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In October, many non-native invasive trees will be removed on Fanita Pkwy between Lake Canyon and Ganley Rd to make way for pipeline construction.  The trees being removed are eucalyptus, pepper trees and fan palms.

Three pipelines are planned to be constructed on Fanita Pkwy, Mast Blvd and beyond. Two of the pipelines are scheduled from fall 2022 through fall 2023 and the third pipeline from summer through fall 2023.

A 3-way stop sign has been installed at the Fanita Pkwy/Ganley Rd intersection for roadway safety.  Please make sure you stop at this stop sign.  The sheriff will be monitoring this location.  Additional traffic controls will be provided in the pipeline excavation areas.
