Public Access to Board Meetings during COVID-19 State of Emergency

Regular Board meetings are held quarterly at the appointed meeting place, the Board Room at Padre Dam's Customer Service Center, located at 9300 Fanita Parkway, Santee and are available via webinar and teleconference.  Attendees not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times while in the building.  Agendas are posted (below) at least 72 hours in advance with instructions to join the meeting remotely.  

Public Comment Procedures

LIVE PUBLIC COMMENT 

Members of the public may address the Board under public comment or on specific agenda items .  If attending via GoToWebinar, attendees must register for the webinar prior to the start of the meeting.  When the item is introduced, attendees will click the hand raise icon within the meeting platform and will be called on to unmute themselves when it is their turn to speak. If attending in person, fill out a “request to speak” form located near the entrance of the board room and provide it to the Board Secretary.  Public comments are limited to 3 minutes.

WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENT 

Alternatively, members of the public may submit written comments through the Public Comment E-Form at least a half hour prior to the start of the meeting to be read during the appropriate portion of the meeting or mailed to the attention of Amy Pederson, East County AWP JPA, PO Box 719003, Santee, CA 92072. 

Board agendas and minutes

The regular meetings of the Board of Directors are held on a quarterly basis on the third Thursday in the months of February, May, August and November at 2:00 pm, at Padre Dam Municipal Water District’s Customer Service Center, 9300 Fanita Parkway, Santee, California.

Agendas for Board meetings are posted at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Special Board Meetings may be scheduled occasionally and those agendas are posted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Board meeting agendas are prepared, posted and distributed in accordance with provisions of the Ralph M. Brown Act.

Minutes from East County Advanced Water Purification Joint Powers Authority Board meetings are posted after approval by the Board.
